This privacy policy describes how the Cogniserve Google Ads MCP server ("the Service", hosted at cci-gads-mcp.cogniserve.tech) handles data accessed through the Google Ads API.
The Service is operated by Cogniserve, a technology services firm based in Panaji, Goa, India (cogniserve.tech). It is used solely by authorized Cogniserve staff to assist with managing the Google Ads campaigns of clients who have authorized Cogniserve as their Google Ads manager. There are no external users.

The Service accesses Google Ads campaign performance metrics, ad creative metadata, asset details, and account-level configuration for accounts where Cogniserve has been granted manager-level access by the account owner via Google Ads' standard manager-link mechanism. We access only the data necessary to fulfil specific reporting and analysis requests made by staff.
Data is fetched on demand via Google's official Google Ads API in response to internal queries. The Service does not retain, persist, cache, sell, transfer, or share data with any third party. All data flow is server-to-server between Google's API endpoints and the Service.
The Service runs on infrastructure operated by Cogniserve. Authentication credentials (Google service-account private key) are stored on this server with restricted file permissions (chmod 600, root-only access). Google Ads data passes through the Service in process memory only — no database, no persistent cache, no exports, no logs containing campaign performance data.
The MCP endpoint requires HTTP Basic authentication backed by a bcrypt-hashed password. Only Cogniserve staff who have been issued credentials can submit queries.
The Service does not retain Google Ads data after a query completes. Server-level access logs (path, status code, timestamp) are kept for operational debugging and do not contain campaign performance data, customer IDs in request bodies, or personally identifiable information.
The Service uses Google's Google Ads API as its sole data source. AI clients connecting to the Service (such as Anthropic Claude) receive query results through the MCP protocol; these clients are governed by their respective providers' terms and privacy policies.
Use of the Google Ads API by this Service complies with the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
If this policy changes, the updated version will replace this page and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
